My Transformation By Carla Mullin LCSW

There seems to be little opportunity to just “be” given all of life’s demands. Many individuals are Type A personalities who are driven to be perfect and place too many demands on themselves. When I was a young mother, I, too was driven. For me, I needed to be the perfect wife, mother, homemaker etc. I was unaware that I was over-stressing my adrenal function, as well as my body. I knew little to nothing about nutrition. As a consequence of an extensive abdominal hernia repair, I developed Epstein Barr. Years later, I was informed that it was a stress virus.

My treatment plan included energy healing on my body, healing visualizations, balancing my life, by reducing the stressors, and meditation. I had to give up eating gluten, sugar, flour, dairy and alcohol. Initially, I was shocked and angry. I literally had to change everything in my life. However, over a long period of time, which was not easy, believe me, this new way of living became the norm. As a result of my diligence, I began to heal, physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually. I am no longer driven as I once was. I am aware that I need to maintain balance on all levels to maintain my health. This was probably the most intense transition in my life. If you are going through your own health and or mental health crisis at this juncture in your life, I am here to help you along your journey. Feel free to contact me today to at 561-714-1028.
